Attorney & Staff

We believe that litigation should not be an end in itself, but rather should be just one possible alternative in a process that leads to a prompt and economically sensible resolution of a dispute. We spend considerable time counseling clients on avoidance of litigation and we consistently seek creative ways to resolve the actions they become involved in as quickly as possible.

The firm’s goal is to provide high quality, big firm, legal expertise and services in a comfortable, small firm atmosphere. Bill Wray and his staff will meet with you, develop your case fully, and explain their methods for achieving full and fair compensation for your injuries and losses.

Mr. Wray, a Kingsport native, was admitted to the Tennessee bar in 1974 following his undergraduate education at Tennessee Technological University and University of Tennessee Law School.

Mr. Wray has practiced law in Kingsport for over 3 decades in the areas of civil litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, products liability and commercial litigation as well as being a Rule 31 Mediator. Mr. Wray was listed as one of “The Best Lawyers in the Tri-Cities” in the November 2007 and 2009 issues of The Business Journal of Tri-Cities Tennessee/Virginia and was listed amongst the “Mid-South Super Lawyers” in the 2008 and 2009 editions of Mid-South Super Lawyers and Rising Stars.

Mr. Wray and his wife Gwen are dedicated to their family, their church and weekly visits with local nursing home residents.
